Remi Adeleke has been a lot of things since completing his service in the U.S. Navy, including author, actor, philanthropist and underwear model. Now, he's hosting an upcoming podcast that will highlight the individual stories of men and women who served in the nation's special forces.

Adeleke will host the "Down Range" podcast alongside 20-year Army veteran Rich Choppa. Choppa is a combat veteran of the Panama, Iraq and Balkan conflicts, worked at the Pentagon as Russia Country Director and has been a ballistics executive at Boeing.

When we last checked in with Adeleke, he'd become a favorite of director Michael Bay after appearing in "Transformers: The Last Knight." Since then, he's worked as a consultant and actor on Bay's Netflix movie "6 Underground," worked with Bay again on the upcoming feature "Ambulance," and is currently filming alongside Chris Pratt in the Amazon Prime series "The Terminal List," based on the military thriller by Jack Carr.

Adeleke and Choppa say they want "Down Range" to give listeners a sense of the sounds and tension experienced by operators on the field of battle. Their program plans to use sound effects to recreate the booms of bombs and whistles of bullets flying overhead.

"I've had the opportunity to tell stories through acting, writing and recently directing, so I'm super excited to stretch my storytelling muscles in this new, for me, and innovative way," said Adeleke in a release.

Executive producer for the series is fellow Navy SEAL veteran Darren McBurnett, and it comes from Tenderfoot TV, the company behind the audio series "Up and Vanished," "Monster," "Radio Rental" and "To Live and Die in LA."
