Joanna Guldin is the community engagement manager at Military.com. She writes for the Spouse and Off-Duty verticals. Using feedback from our readers, she crafts articles centering primarily around entertainment and community members’ personal stories. She occasionally writes articles focusing on overlooked military history.

Joanna has worked in the military community for more than a decade with for-profit and non-profit entities. She is the writer behind one of the largest and longest-running military spouse blogs online, Jo, My Gosh! and is the co-founder of PILLAR, a yearly virtual retreat for military spouses and significant others dealing with their partners’ deployment. 

Joanna’s writing has been featured in national and international publications. She is a 2018 WarHorse Fellow, a selected attendee for #VerizonSalutes Military Summit, a member of Meta’s Boost Leaders Network, and a selected attendee of Meta’s Boost Leaders Network Gather conference. In 2020, she was inducted into her county’s Women’s Hall of Fame for her contributions in the military community space.

Joanna lives in Central Pennsylvania with her Navy veteran husband, young twins, and Jack Russell/Godzilla mix. In her spare time, she enjoys reading historical fiction and travel memoirs, watching PBS dramas, and cross stitching gifts for friends and family.
