John Basilone (November 4, 1916 – February 19, 1945) was a United States Marine Gunnery Sergeant who received the Medal
P-51, P-47, Spitfire, and Beaufighter's vs. German and Japanese air sea and land targets.
P-51's attack a JU-52 and some ME-109's. Also includes Typhoon rocket attacks on land targets.
The Mark 3 had an additional 32-foot (9.8 m) mid-section that gave it a length of 192 feet (59 m)
