Trump Praises Saddam Hussein

Donald Trump raised eyebrows on Tuesday night with a line about Saddam Hussein that paints the infamous Iraqi dictator as tough on terror. 'Saddam Hussein was a bad guy. He was a bad guy, a really bad guy,' Trump said during a campaign stop in Raleigh, North Carolina. 'But you know what he did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn't read 'em the rights. They didn't talk. They were a terrorist? It was over.' Trump was criticizing the Obama administration for pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq with advance notice, creating a vacuum that al Qaeda in Iraq – later rebranded as the ISIS terror army – rushed to fill.
