Coast Guard Assists in Rescue of 42 Crewmembers

    Forty-two crewmembers are safe after abandoning ship 1,800 miles south of Hawaii on February 10, 2016. Crewmembers aboard the fishing vessel American Eagle were able to extinguish the fire and dewater the vessel while the remaining crewmembers boarded Fong Seong 888.
