Final Return for British Soldiers KIA

    09/27/2012 -- The bodies of two servicemen, who died in Afghanistan last week, have been repatriated to Britain today. A private ceremony has been held at RAF Brize Norton for their families. The two servicemen died in separate incidents in Afghanistan last Friday. Sergeant Jonathan Kups, who had been in the Army for 20 years, had been attached to the electronic repair section of 4 Close Support Battalion REME. He died at Camp Bastion. On the same day, in a separate incident, Captain James Townley, from 28 Engineer Regiment, the Corps of Royal Engineers and was on his third tour of Afghanistan, died from wounds sustained while serving at Forward Operating Base Shawqat.
