F-100 Super Sabre Fatal Crash

Share

This allegedly happened at Edwards AFB in the 1950s. It was a brand new F-100C being flown from the factory to George. When the pilot had a problem with his nose gear he diverted to Edwards, which had a longer runway. RIP First Lieutenant Barty R. Brooks, who was the pilot here.
