Marine Fires GAU-17 Minigun from a UH-1Y Venom

    PACIFIC OCEAN (March 28, 2019) Marine Sgt. Cade Allen, from Bartlesville, Okla., fires a GAU-17 minigun at a fast inshore attack craft during a live-fire exercise on board a UH-1Y Venom, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced). USS John P. Murtha is underway conducting routine operations as a part of USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
