Excalibur - The Science of Precision
Earlier this summer, the U.S. Army and Raytheon put Excalibur through the most rigorous environmental tests to date. Excalibur projectiles were dropped, vibrated, and exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures. Despite these extreme testing conditions, Excalibur performed superbly, scoring direct hits on targets at record ranges in excess of 50 kilometers and achieving an overall average miss distance of 2.2 meters.
