Marine Recruits Hit the Gas Chamber

    Recruits of Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, endure the effects of tear gas after exiting a gas chamber Sept. 24, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C. Marine Corps recruits learn basic chemical warfare defense to ensure they are confident in their abilities to use a gas mask while enduring the effects of a nonlethal tear gas. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 15, 2013.
