Soldier Surprises Wife at Graduation Ceremony

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - There wasn't a dry eye in the house during commencement ceremonies for the Samford University School of Nursing as one of the graduating students got the surprise of her life on Friday. As Kimberly Ann Scott heard her name called she thought she was simply the next nursing student in line to graduate, but a few moments later she was shocked when her husband walked out on stage. Kimberly's husband, Captain Stephen Scott, has been serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan and Kuwait since July.
