Portable Heliport for Vietnam War - 1966

    An 800 pound, 18-foot diameter mobile heliport that is erected across jungle treetops for use in the Vietnam War. A net is stretched across treetops, and the platform placed atop the net. Troops embark and disembark to hovering helicopters from the platform (the helicopters do not actually land on it).
