Air Force F-15 Gets Stunning Heritage Paint Job

Share

173rd Fighter Wing at Kingsley Field ANG Base brought an F-15C to Edwards Air Force Base for a Heritage paint job. The paint scheme was to commemorate David R. Kingsley who received the Medal of Honor for his sacrifice during World War II. He saved the lives of his aircrew when the B-17 he was on board was shot down during battle. Edwards AFB was able to assist the 173rd by providing a larger paint booth for the volume of work the AMXS team was planning. (US Air Force video)
