After months of rigorous testing and intense evaluation, Car and Driver.com has published their list of the best cars for 2010.
The vehicles that appear on this list underwent the compulsory driving and design tests – road handling, headroom and legroom, etc. – but a new category was created for this year's entrants – a price cap.
Car and Driver raised their price cap criteria from $71,000 to $80,000 in the "belief that $80,000 is the current point of automotive excellence's diminishing returns."
So if that $40,000 bonus is burning a hole in your pocket, take a look at this year's best cars and choose wisely.
