Authorities in New Jersey on Saturday have been searching for a Marine who has been missing for nearly one week, NBC-10 reported.
Officials from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, near Pemberton, are looking for 28-year-old Marine Sgt. Tristan Clinger.
Clinger's wife told the station the man took off on foot around 4 p.m. ET on December 20 and has not been seen since then.
A volunteer with the group "MissingInAmerica.us" told FoxNews.com the organization was also searching for Clinger Saturday evening, in addition to the Burlington County K-9 Search and Rescue.
A five-year veteran of the Marine Corps, Clinger is said to be white, 5-foot-10-inches tall with brown hair. He is originally from Lexington, Ky.
Clinger seemed distraught prior to his disappearance, his wife said. He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans with a red hat and a backpack.
Volunteers are also aiding authorities in the search, the station reported.
Clinger, who also has two young children, is said to be an 'at risk' individual, the Moorestown Patch reported.
The base is located about 15 miles east of Philadelphia, near the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
