"She is part of our history and she will not be forgotten," Maj. Gen. Scott Efflandt said.

Army officials said there is no evidence that a soldier who killed himself to avoid capture sexually assaulted Guillen.

"How could this happen while she was on duty?" Lupe Guillen, the soldier's sister, asked.

The move came hours after skeletal remains found in nearby Killeen were identified as another soldier.

The 10 bases in question include some of the largest Army posts: Fort Bragg, Fort Hood and Fort Benning.
