An F/A-18E Super Hornet has crashed near Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California, the Navy said Wednesday.

The stall resulted in a loss of majority thrust from the right engine, causing the aircraft to roll to the right.

The three were killed Dec. 6 when an F/A-18 Hornet and KC-130J refueling tanker went down about 200 miles off Japan's coast.

Selva said that the F-35A pilot who was killed in an April crash may not have listened to what his aircraft was telling him.
