If you're in the San Diego area, and you are seriously working on your long-term career plan, you might be interested in Making The Right Moves 2014, Career Development and Leadership Training for Military Spouses. From the sign-up sheet, "This year's focus will be on creating and following a successful career path tailored to the unique needs of military spouse attorneys." However, event organizers have told SpouseBUZZ that "the insight is valuable for any career-minded spouses."
I don't know much about this group, and I can't tell you if the agenda might be useful for your particular situation. However, I did want to make you aware of the opportunity. There is an $85 fee.
