Just a heads up to all my friends - you might want to log on to MyPay and double-check your Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) contribution selections. My husband changed his in December, and the confirmation page said that it would be effective 1 January 2013. I just looked again because he is doing some tax-free time, and it still has the amounts from before the December change. Darn it!
I feel pretty sure that this problem is probably confined to just our family, but who knows. Wouldn't you hate to get to June and then figure out that you weren't contributing the amount you expected? It will only take a few minutes to check and it will be worth the peace of mind.
