Military.com news and information now available via mobile apps
MCLEAN, Va – Military.com launched free mobile apps for both the iPhone and iPad devices this month allowing members and readers easy access to military news and veterans benefits information.
The apps were launched on December 1st and are the latest in a series of mobile product releases by Military.com. The apps include new easy-to-read designs featuring unique formats for both the iPhone and iPad. Users with both devices can access the new apps with a single download from iTunes.
Military.com VP of Products, Mark Maxwell, said, "Military.com is always striving to deliver new and innovative products to support our military members, retirees, veterans and their families. Our new apps extend our mission of supporting the military community anywhere, anytime."
T McCreary, retired Navy Rear Admiral and President of Military.com added that the apps are a gateway to even more specialized services for members saying, "We will now able to leverage the unique features of the apps to further tailor our product offerings to the specific needs of each segment of our audience providing an even higher level of service to those who serve."
The iPhone and iPad applications are immediately available via the Apple App Store; Android versions will be available in 2013.
